Communication Disruption – SIM Card Deactivation and Information Isolation

  1. 该号码长期正常使用,且无欠费、停机预警或正常停用程序提示;
  2. 在跨国期间突然失效,使我无法接收银行验证码、政府通知及重要联系信息;
  3. 该中断在客观上切断了我与外界、亲友及关键系统之间的正常联系;
  4. 此类技术性中断在特定时间节点上,可能造成比直接语言威胁更强的现实孤立感与不安全感;

Incident Description

In May 2025, while I was visiting family in China, my Danish mobile number suddenly stopped functioning. I was unable to send or receive text messages, receive bank or government verification codes, or contact family members. The number had been regularly billed, with no unpaid balance and no prior warning or notice of suspension.

At the time, I was in an international travel situation and heavily dependent on mobile communication and identity verification, making the disruption especially serious in practical terms.

Analysis

  1. The number had been in normal long-term use and showed no sign of unpaid charges or ordinary shutdown procedure;
  2. The disruption prevented access to bank verification codes, government notifications, and urgent communications;
  3. In practical terms, the interruption severed my ability to maintain contact with external systems and family;
  4. Such a technical disruption can create a stronger sense of isolation and insecurity than an explicit verbal threat;
  5. The timing of the event, during an already sensitive complaint period, gives it significant evidentiary value.

Preliminary Conclusion (For Record)

Based on the currently available information, I cannot definitively determine the technical cause or source of responsibility for this communication breakdown. However, in practical effect, it created a state of “information isolation,” during which I was deprived of access to notifications, verification systems, outside contact, and emergency communication.

While such a disruption may not constitute an overt threat in itself, its real-world effect carries strong elements of isolation, control, and psychological pressure—especially during a sensitive period of ongoing complaints and international movement.

This event is therefore documented as a technical isolation incident and a potential pressure signal, to be assessed together with other irregular disruptions and contact anomalies in the broader timeline.
