The Empty Letter from the Danish Immigration Service – Psychological Pressure via Administrative Form

  • 她并未说明到底是什么类型的系统错误;
  • 没有解释这是否是个别事件还是系统性问题;

  1. 信件具备完整的法律格式与正式要求(包括强制性回应时限),但却无任何实际内容,制造混乱与心理负担;
  2. 在没有正文的情况下却要求我回应,客观上形成一种模糊而无法正常处理的行政压力;
  3. 该信件的发送时间接近我向联合国提交投诉后的敏感阶段;

Incident Background

On April 28, 2025, I received an official letter from the Danish Immigration Service (Udlændingestyrelsen) titled “Følgebrev” (Cover Letter). The letter was issued under Case No. 25/132267 by the Office for Extension (Kontoret for Forlængelse). It included my full name, address, and CPR number, and stated that I was required to respond by April 28, 2026. The letter was formally signed “Med venlig hilsen.”

However, the body of the letter was completely blank. It contained no explanation, no message, no attachments, and no indication of what I was expected to respond to.

Follow-up and Official Response

On April 29, 2025, I proactively contacted the Immigration Service to ask about the meaning and purpose of the letter. I received a reply from Chanett Andersen, who confirmed that I had received a letter “with no content” and attributed it to a system error.

  • No explanation was given regarding the type of system error;
  • No clarification was provided as to whether this was an isolated incident or part of a wider issue;
  • The original letter was not formally withdrawn, corrected, or replaced.

Analysis and Conclusion (For Record)

Although the letter contained no explicit threat, it constitutes a highly irregular administrative act that objectively created confusion and psychological pressure.

  1. The letter used a complete legal-administrative format and imposed a formal deadline, yet contained no actual content;
  2. It demanded a response while providing no instructions, creating an unresolved procedural burden;
  3. The timing coincided with a sensitive period following my international complaint submission;
  4. Although the authority later referred to it as a “system error,” no formal procedural correction was issued.

For these reasons, I document this event as an abnormal administrative signal and a low-intensity form of procedural pressure.

This event will be considered together with other irregular contacts or pressure signals in order to establish a broader timeline of post-complaint interference and uncertainty.
